Update(12/1/10)- Teddy went to Bob Orton’s for training back in July to be started. Luckily for Teddy (and for us), Bob and Sherra liked him enough to want to develop him further! Congratulations to Bob and Sherra on their purchase of Teddy and we couldn’t be more pleased knowing Teddy is being trained by the best! We wish them much success with this project and hope they enjoy the ride. Teddy is such a neat boy.

Update (07/11/09)- Couture and Stephanie Phelan were united in NJ! Tori has gone off to start her new life and will eventually be a dressage horse and an eventer. We wish Stephanie much success and best wishes and hope that she sends us regular updates on Tori’s progress.

2006 Dutch Warmblood bay filly with a wonderful disposition. Bel is modern and light with great movement. She is handled daily and has been easy to train.

2007 15.2h registered Dutch Warmblood. Coveted (“Teddy”) is a great moving gelding with the disposition included. Teddy really has a very classic look to him – a very handsome horse. He is the perfect amateur’s horse!. He is very friendly and easy to handle. Being a three year old, he is at a point in his life he needs to start his career with that special person. With Wertherson as his dam’s sire and Juventus as his sire, he has been bred to be an all-around sport-horse.

2007 registered Dutch Warmblood. Couture (“Tori”) is a fancy moving filly with a great topline. Tori looks like her sire- he has passed on the sweet ‘doe’ eyes to her. She is a fabulous dressage prospect. She takes after her mother in many ways, a Consul daughter, with her intelligence and has the movement of her sire, she gets her fabulous disposition from both of her parents.

Fidelia has been trained in dressage and the hunters up to three feet. She has been ridden in local dressage shows and also around the farm by the kids. She has a wonderful disposition. She has produced a very classic, well-mannered gelding as her first foal and we look forward to breeding her again because of this.

Marvelous, a STAR mare, has been a broodmare most of her life due to injury and has had seven outstanding foals by different sires. Marvelous is everyone’s surrogate mom/babysitter. She loves all the babies and is great with the teenagers. She is gentle and loving to all of the horses of every age. She is truly an asset to the breeding program.

Jazzie was a champion at first level and qualified for the BLM’s. She was schooled through third level. Jazzie also evented successfully through training level and was shown in the jumpers in the 3′ division.

She is an all-around wonderful mare! She has a wonderful disposition. Perfect at shows; perfect for an amateur. She was a fantastic mother to both her 2007 filly Couture (Sold), and to her 2001 colt by Ulft, Unforseen- his show updates can be tracked on the “The Latest” page.

Casandra, a 2000 Hanoverian mare was purchased by Davignwood Farm as a potential broodmare. When she went to trainer Sherry Meier, Sherry loved her talent so much that she bought her!  Casandra has beautiful gaits that are loved by all who see her go. She is very feminine and presents a lovely picture.  Over the years, Sherry and Casandra have attended many clinics and training camps with notable clinicians such as Debbie Bowman and Lisa Wilcox and all who see her- love her and want more!
