Welcome to Davignwood Farm!

Davignwood Farm began in 2000 after 20 years of riding multiple disciplines such as eventing and dressage and with horse management experience of the idea of quality, not quantity. We are a small breeding farm, and we typically only have one foal a year to give the foal(s) the attention needed.

The foals we breed come from the best bloodlines. At Davignwood Farm, we prefer the older, proven lines but occasionally, we’ll try out younger stallions. Regardless of whether an amateur or professional will buy or ride one of our developing horses, the horse has been bred to have a great disposition and ride-ability.

The foals live outside 24/7 and are handled almost daily until they turn 3. At which point they are professionally started. We believe it is healthier to let horses be horses and that it is essential for a good foal’s mental and physical development to be able to run and play as much as possible.
